Joy vs dawn vs professional soap which is better?

Who else wants them to put phosphates back in dish soap works much better with it

Guys! Listen up! I now believe using joy or for that matter any dish soap sucks! I used about 3 tablespoons, probably a little more for three gallons of water. I am noticing in spots i am getting a blue hue patches on my window. I am not sure if that is the soap residue or just the fact the window inside has not been cleaned in many months. I also think the joy is not able to break down the junk on windows.

OK so in case it was not clear I was being sarcastic. I would never use 550 as a soap. It is a dangerous acid and should never be used as an everyday soap. You should always take great care when using this stuff! I was just in one of those moods, I had a long hard week and was very wore out, and could not help but be a little smart.

For the record I use APC 120, GG3, GG4, and Palmolive original scent, or a combination of two depending on the job and weather conditions.

Thanks Travis took your advice today and now I can not feel my fingers!

Joking

LOL. If you took my advice you probably would not have any fingers!

Dawn for high rise & ecover for resi

Haha Joe, me too!

What a joke. And by all means … please enlighten us.
You don’t have yur ratios down.
You can’t decide on what soap to use.
By the way it sounds as if you have no experience.
Do yourself a favor and don’t be afraid to clean some glass. I really don’t care if you spit on it and use a leaf blower to detail it. At least if nothing else you will then have something to compare to

well done Captain Obvious…

Best. Comment. Ever.

Has anyone ever tried j&j baby shampoo? Thats what we winder tinters use for slip… and about a year ago a tint installer here in the US came up with a new product called Tint Slime everyone loves it so far… I wonder if small amounts of tint slime would work for slip with WC… hmm

Sssh soap war continues…
It does not matter WHAT one uses as long as it works for YOU!
baby shampoo and winder slime…

Ha ha. I put some baby shampoo in my slip right now, but haven’t started a route yet. Well see what happens…

Although I’m very new, I have tried dawn, joy, gg3, and ettore soap.

Dish soap imo leaves residue/milky film, gg3 produces a literally squeeky clean glass but doesn’t slip as good? The ettore soap was just so so imo.

Right now I’m playing with dawn/gg but havent found a consistent mix ratio?

I bought some tsp a while ago and will also try that this week as well?

Overall, I think I like gg3 the best, I just have to figure out a consistent ratio that I like…
