yep we are out here in so cal. It could be the area (weather wise). I agree that there cannot be a definite answer to the skylight question.
misleading, how so?
He uses WFP on skylights. Call and ask.
See post #2 on page 1 of this thread (as opposed to my comment #2.)
if your speaking about troy liposec, i know he uses em on skylights and he says they spot.
not if you ask
well then that is a different story, what he told you and what he told Doug are two different things. This is the last time im gonna respond to this thread, because im tired of it. Basically I dont care about the skylights bro, if they spot or they dont spot doesnt really matter to me because ive figured out sometimes they do sometimes they dont. Im just over the sarcasm and the picking apart of peoples post by larry. Thats all.
and they looked great. WFP in 35 degree weather from the home’s deck.
Someone posted a definitive statement that I questioned. I request the opinion of others. 80% disagree with the statement. I feel posing the question, with the unaltered statement, was valid.
What is the value of an unasked question?
The important thing is not to stop questioning. ~ Albert Einstein
The outcome of any serious research can only be to make two questions grow where only one grew before. ~ Thorstein Veblen
I have not answered the poll as there are too many factors involved to say one way or the other. Also I believe this is a yes or no question not a true or false question. But either way. I have cleaned skylights, atriums, hot houses and green houses. Never spotted and never looked like crap. If they did then my customers were morons for calling me back to clean them again 6 months later. Now with that said, keep in mind my filters are still in great shape and the water here is not over 100 tds (not that it should matter for me as I use a ro/di machine). But there are a number of things that can cause them to come out like crap.
- Not scrubbing the frames correctly causing dirt and junk to drip down on the window.
- Dirty brush head.
- Worng angle on your brush head.
- Your filters are going bad.
- Your DI needs a recharge.
- All of the above
Let’s look at it like this. If it did spot I think Curt Kempton from 5 star would not be using one to clean the Biodome thingy.
Good point jugg, w/ the biodome
