sorry i got you… so was the rainx applied by someone who used to clean the windows or is the rainx already coated on the windows when it leaves the company that made the windows,

I just bought a gallon of EBC Glide. Best shine I have ever seen. So I’m feeling like an extra special window cleaner these days. As I read this thread I’m beginning to not feel so extra special. Haha

Isn’t EBC glide a slip additive, or is it a different formulation of EBC?
Are you using the EBC Glide by itself or do you have a special brew you are using?
I would be interested in your feedback over the long haul with it.
EBC Glide is a new window cleaning detergent. After three month of use I am very happy with it. I do add an 1/8th of an ounce of Ecover to my 2 gallon bucket of EBC solution but that’s not really necessary because EBC has enough glide by itself. I thought that EBC Glide was going to be the new holy grail of window cleaning soaps but now we have yet another new soap. Thank you Jim. Oops…I guess it’s not really a soap is it?
I received my samples today. I will be putting them to work very soon. I figure this thread as good as anyplace to leave my feedback.

I have a few windows this weekend I intend to use this one. Residential, not been cleaned for two years. FLY POOP!
I’ve been hesitant to just jump in and switch.
I guess I can say that my EBC is better than GG4 in every way but I have heard that Jim’s new window cleaners pro +plus is even better.

Why is EBC Glide better than the GG series?
Better glide, better cleaning power and I believe the windows look cleaner and stay looking good longer. I’ll know for sure in a few more months.

Cleaning power period . It seems to stay wet longer than gg4. I could be wrong about that though .

Looks like you cant get EBC Glide in the UK… not easily anyway, as I get a load of motorbike brake products on a web search or WCR links.
Recently bought a new gallon? of GG3, so will have to stick with that.
I think it stays wet longer as well.
I wonder how long the window cleaners pro +plus stays wet?
