it is frustrating to reach all over around your pole to find where each rotated clamp is as your extending to max height
so this is very cool
this hasnt been a top of list item for me, but definitely a welcome one! and such a seemingly obvious and simple solution to fix!

True that, Mark … we will supply the file - it is 1/5" deep … in fact, we have designed it so, in your raw enthusiasm, you could fit the RHINO Clamps and then come back later and and file the slots … in the meantime, the clamp will sit a little high.
But, of course, our preference is that everyone takes the time to fit them …
wow. supplying existing customers with tools to retrofit their products so they can keep up with new revisions- really unbelievable. i’ve seriously never seen any other company do anything like that. really amazing.
When can we get these clams? I dont like my tuff clams very much…
You have to visit the rhino-clamps.com website and order them through that website. I ordered mine over two weeks ago and still wanting for the clamps because I too am tired of the “tuff clamps”. When I do receive and install them I will post some pictures.
Do we get them free? Heck, I got my pole from them about 6 month ago
no you can participate in the tuff clamp survey and get a discount, but they will run you $99.00 hope that helps
That sucks, Seems like reach-it is fallowing the Apple company practices.
Well the cost of developing and producing the clamps is not cheap. They look to be worth the purchase.
Every thing else that I have bought from F.O.C. they stand by along with WCR so I’m sure they will stand by these new clamps if something goes wrong.
They did it for me on a couple of the tuff clamps and and they are going to be replacing my defective pole skin and my tip also
No doubt, they been good to me. I had a faulty pole skin that un did it self out of the box and they sent me a new one… My issue is releasing products and then 6 months later they have something better, and its a never ending cycle, keeps the coustomer spending and promising this latest product IS IT! Only to find a few months later they put there thinking caps on and the next product will blow the rest out of the park.
Make 1 good tested and proven product and be done! Simple
I spent a little over $1,000 on a pole and now I need to update my clamps??? I’m sorry but something about that upsets me
I agree with you on that one and I am to the point were it has been over two week and still waiting for the clamps. I haven’t even received a shipping conformation.
They are not quite like Apple and all the other developers in electronics, but all manufacturers seem to be going in that direction.

At this point, I will just continue to use my pole til I can. If it becomes more of a problem I will simply post it on the classified or CL and try my luck with another manufacturer. Not because I can’t afford new clamps, but because I don’t think I should pay to fix and make my pole perform as it should out of the box
