Ya I’ll check it out !! Btw this is jmo. Streaking has nothjng to do with any type of soap you use. It’s either one of 3 things
- Your rubber is shot or defective
- Something on the glass. Weather it be grease, excessive dirt, forget about condensation just keep cleaning an move to the next piece of glass .
- A nick in your rubber . Yes your channel could be bent, but how often does that happen
- To much pressure on the squeegee .

Did my first problem job this morning with Dawn and didn’t get any smears this morning. Same channel, same rubber, same technique. I’ve been doing that job for about 8 months, 1x2 and always had issues when I was using ecover.
Now, I will concede that these problem jobs could be because of whatever cleaner they’re using between cleanings. However, dawn seems to minimize my issues and ecover didn’t. It’s entirely possible that the soap isn’t the problem, but dawn did make a difference.
So my position is if you don’t have any problems, stick with ecover. As for me, I’ll be going back to dawn just because I don’t really want to stock/carry 2 soaps.
sigh off to the store to get a can of “working hands”…
Are you referring to the Ettore Squeegee Off? If so, how much do you add per gallon?

Hey Chad, I think it’s just called “Squeegee”… I’ll check it out and get back to you. It comes in a white one gallon plastic bottle with orange or maybe red lettering. $10.00 a gallon. I don’t actually put it in a bucket. I put it right on my mop applicator.

Yeah, my only concern is that it might be the aloe/additive that might be the culprit.
Yeah, Dawn with Olay has no aloe listed in the ingredients.
