Wow, your kinda all over the board there Dave. You sure made “Mr. P-far” sound like an amateur who doesn’t know what he’s doing.

You say on the one hand that you can’t complain about TSP unless you try it, and if you don’t like it, that’s ok. But then you go on to say that “Mr. P-far” needs to keep using it for longer because he doesn’t have the 31 years of experience like you do. So if he doesn’t have your experience then things aren’t supposed to work on the first time like they do for you huh? Like the scrim that worked immediately for you because you have 31 years worth of experience… not because Jonny used that scrim for 8 months and broke it in well before he sent it to you…huh Dave?

You say that we shouldn’t not like TSP just because we like something else. But that’s not true Dave, I don’t like TSP-- because it doesn’t do a single thing that other soaps can’t do, plus it’s dangerous to use, unlike those other soaps. You know what happens if you use too much Dawn or GG4 Dave? Nothing, maybe some extra bubbles at the worst. Nobodies hands or lips start burning after using Dawn or GG4 Dave.

You act like everybody is an idiot or not a “son of Ettore” if they don’t listen to you and your 31 years of experience. Well, I guess I’m not a son of anyone but my Father then. You know I told you when you first mentioned TSP that I would try it. I’m always open to trying different things, and I was ready and willing to give your soap a chance. I had planned to get some at Home Depot, but then I did a little research on TSP and came across stuff like this Data Sheets - ICSC1178 - International occupational safety & health information centre and other stuff that made me decide not to use it because of the potential health risk involved with it. I don’t use it not because I like another soap, I don’t use it because its dangerous.

At least 3 people now have followed your advice and tried TSP out. They gave it an honest shot and two of them experienced some physical side effects. And your response is that they are either amateurs who need to keep using the stuff, or they don’t know what they are talking about and its really something else thats stuck on the windows and not the TSP. I guess Garrett, Jessie and Paul are all just idiots huh?

You know Dave, you are very passive aggressive in your behavior. You have a lot of people who believe in you and your goofy act. You act like a good natured kooky-friendly guy, but your real personality does shine through for some people. You and I were “friends” on WCR once…until you stuck up for Mike The Window cleaner (banned from WCR but then brought back and then banned again within a couple of hours) even though he is a racist and a total A-hole who belittled everybody he could who doesn’t think like he does or use the tools he does. Sound kind of familiar? The reason I deleted you as a “friend” on WCR is because you can tell a lot about somebody by the friends they keep Dave. But Ill tell you this, My not using TSP has nothing to do with you. I have never told anyone not to use TSP. I have done my research and provided some of that info to a forum member who asked why his hands were burning after using TSP. You never responded to him so I did it for you.

I’m tired of the passive-aggresive games you play Dave. You want everyone to try TSP so they too can be “sons of Ettore”… and if they don’t-- they are idiots who don’t have all the wisdom and experience a “true son of Ettore” like you has…ok I get it Dave.

But for the record, I don’t think Garrett, Paul or Jessie are idiots or amateurs. And I think its pretty ****ty of you to make some videos just to defend your beloved TSP and discredit other forum members who took your advice and tried TSP in good faith, and then honestly reported what their experiences were.

And if you want to post up some silly pictures of sharks or stupid looking fish in response to this post like you do when Larry points out something to you that you find disagreeable, then by all means, go right ahead. But I suspect you will probably just pretend like this post doesn’t exist.

Dange, the thing I noticed is that the sun wasn’t shining on those windows. Maybe you should try doing another window where the sun is shining on the window and then let the solution dry on it. You may actually be surprised by the results. And Woody made some valid points that I think you would do well to consider about making a video criticizing other forum members for having differing experiences to yours. Just my opinion though.

But what if I think Dange and Big Woody are both good guys and they both have a lot of good stuff to say and they both make me laugh???

Can’t I still like both of them??

Oh I plan on it, and I believe others will be surprised how TSP really works…I wasn’t criticizing anyone, I was only making a point, and how others perceive things is how they roll…

Michael thanks for your friendship, I really appreciate it… Your a straight up guy, I hope everything continues to go well for you…God Bless you my Friend !

Dange

I’m not trying to get anyone to not like anyone, or start some kind of beef between people.

Admittedly maybe I should have sent a PM to Dave instead of posting my message on the open forum. But I was/am a little upset when I saw the videos, and saw how three other forum members whom I respect, were, in my opinion disrespected by Dave’s comments. They are subtle, but they are there.

I guess thats just how I “roll”.

I’m not offended. It just doesn’t work for me. Heck, I’ve been cleaning windows for 10 months…alone. I’m sure there’s a lot I still need to perfect.

I feel that there are a few WCR users on here that have Daddy Issues and use their knowledge as a weapon, belittling other WCR users like they’re on the playground again. I don’t feel Dave’s one of them.

BTW: it’s pronounced “far”, like, “Cleaner By Pfarr”

Hey Garrett,

Thanks for you kind words…“Your Far out Dude” ( old 60’s and 70’s verbiage ) !

Your friend / Dangerous

I’m glad that everyone is playing nice now.

I was never being mean-- just honest.

you forgot to mention that you were also long-winded, Mr. Wood.

Well I was highly motivated to respond;)

That was GREAT! I think Im going to make a video about cleaning with dawn only if Tony will make one about GG. You in Tony??

Yes. Can I tease you in my video?

Hell yea. It’s on now sucka! I’m going to bring the R rated version tho.

I’ll still keep mine G rated though. I don’t want to be too mean.

I’ve been using TSP for years. It’s called Simple Green, cheap as hell. I only use it on greasy windows.

Nope. No TSP in Simple Green.

I’m in and I’ll reconfigure my TSP video pull out my big guns and blow you both out of the water with them loaded up with my good friend Mr.TSP

Just being Dangerous

Dange, the thing I noticed is that the sun wasn’t shining on those windows. Maybe you should try doing another window where the sun is shining on the window and then let the solution dry on it. You may actually be surprised by the results.

I cleaned windows with Dangerous Dave on a very hot sunny day. We were using both using Dave’s TSP. I didn’t notice any problems with the TSP (I think the amount of TSP is crucial… don’t use too much). It didn’t dry on the windows or leave any residue, nothing. I admit that I have had chapped lips from using TSP… same with ammonia. I think that there is some inherent danger in a lot of chemicals. Use at your own risk. Dave’s still alive, and from what I can tell mostly intact

I liked a lot of things about TSP, including lack of foam and ease in detailing. I couldn’t fan worth a crap with it though. I like TSP for certain applications. I also like dawn. GG3 and GG4 are decent. GG4 plus Dawn is pretty boss. I have also had good results with Dawn + ammonia for exterior work. I guess I like to play the field

I can say that I have personally seen Dave’s work and it is good. No streaks, powder, corroded frames etc.
