Unger starter set ok?

Hello everyone!
New to this business. Is the unger starter set ok to start with? or should I just assemble a few key pieces? I am just wanting to do storefronts for now, not any crazy heights or anything. Also, what to use for a cleaning solution during the remaining cold months? Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the forum!

The shopping list for storefronts is pretty short.
If you want to get the most done with the least number of tools here is what I’d recommend
18" mop and 18" squeegee
14" backflip/visa versa/combinator
6" Squeegee for sills and ledges
10 or 12 foot pole
5 gallon bucket w/gamma lid
3 scrim towels
Fine bronze wool
Any kind of dish soap or Glass Gleam product
Optional: BOAB and belt

Pick one brand across the board so all your tools fit the same pole. Unger, ettore, sorbo, moerman, doesn’t matter much as long as you practice often and practice well.

Hello Colby and welcome to the forum!

Concur with what Samuel stated above, all the brands he mentioned are good. If you need assistance with business cards or other startup tasks feel free to ask lots of questions here on the forum.

Awesome! Thanks everyone! Looks like I have quite a few options to choose from. I see lots of practice coming my way:)

Maybe they are made of different density plastics? In the frozen wasteland you call home the plastics would contract at different rates, thereby causing a size disparity.

if only, it’s a year round phenomena. winter i mostly sit around the igloo chewing the fat and hiding from the polar bears.
