Hey AC; Perry Farrell called and he wants his suffix “palooza” back.
I did Nolapalooza two years ago. I guess I have to iradicate all traces of that event.
I hope Perry can come up with another name for his deal.
This should be something to consider for potential students I would think.
I hate it that the word was trademarked for those who have been using it before it was filed. Keeping some words, phrases as a trademark can be tough if there is proof that it is a term used by many beforehand, or its too general a term…causing confusion with another trademarked term previously filed. I have to say its a brilliant idea to file a trademark only if it brings him more money. After all, the sole reason in doing the trademark is to make more money.
Somebody needs to look at Mark VII Equipment, a manufacturer of car wash systems and equipment, who has had softwash registered for years.

At this point I’m pretty sure it was just an attempt at bullying and intimidation.
I think AC is more than a little butthurt about being banned from the NOLA Event for his previous attack on Micah (which Chris immediately took care of) and the fact that our New Orleans Pressure Washing Class is going to bury his course on how to use a $150 12v pump on a $4000 aluminum frame to spray bleach on stuff and call it “clean”.
interestingly enough, AC got onto the PWI board (same thread over there) to defend himself (read: whine), but hasn’t shown up here yet. Hmm… where ya at, AC?
[I]Micah had created a poster that used the word softwash in the way that I use as SoftWash with a cap “S” and a cap “W” I dropped him a note letting him know I have the word mark on that use especially when combined with Systems. He said he would look into it and that was that.

Not trying to start anything here, but why does trademarking a word, and asking others to abide by that, not match the life of a preacher?
