What is the best money spent I have no idea about websites or seo. i pass out flyers with some results the typical 1-2% what about eddm? Whats the best catch for flyers like maybe a catchy design or discount? Im just wondering I have about $500 a month to put towards advertising. What do you think is the best way to invest it or how much more would it be for something good. Thanks!
The best ROI for me by far has been lettering on my truck and yard signs.

Hey socalrebel24, all of the Hatch plans offer the same tools and marketing support, the only difference is the number of landing pages.
Here’s a brief explanation about landing pages…
Landing pages are custom designed pages on your website. Each landing page targets 1 specific service or location. They generally have a higher conversion rate than generic pages because you’re providing your potential customer with information specific to their exact needs. Landing pages also increase your website traffic as they often rank better than generalized pages on search engine results. They are very keyword specific and can help you get search traffic for specific terms that your more general home page might not get. If you run Google Adwords or another form of pay per click advertising, targeted landing pages are an absolute must.
However, you don’t need to commit to landing pages up front. You can go with the base plan and add landing pages whenever you like in the future. Landing pages are $19/month when added later.
As for online marketing support, here’s a really great video that walks you through the Hatch Toolbox which is included with every plan. The Hatch Toolbox really takes your online marketing to a whole new level. It helps increase your conversion rate and greatly enhances your Search Engine Marketing too…

if you have $500 a month to spend you can get the top hatch plan and still have money left over for other things. Your in a difficult seo market but you can make more $ with a good website then anything else out there.
I’d concentrate on Poway, 4s ranch, Rancho Bernardo, RSF, since your in Ramona those areas were always our top producers along with Carlsbad
thanks brian. Is hatch a good website builder? Or is there some others you can recommend? How much business do you think a website could produce?
It all depends on your needs and wants you are more or less leasing a site from them but they do all the hard work, seo it ,make changes, are you skilled at that or are your talents better served elsewhere?
As for roi it’s really limitless but it was the primary driver of my business in San Diego and we were over 6 figures

Check out Anya with Ambidextrous Services. She will build you a site take monthly payments and after you are done paying you own the site unlike hatch where you have to keep paying every month.
Check out my site she just did for me
You can check some of the websites built by Hatch at Hatchspot.com/reviews/.
The real key though isn’t just building a website that looks good, it’s getting results from it. The Hatch marketing platform continually improves your customer conversion rate (how many of your visitors become customers). Here’s the simple version of how it works:
After your site launches, our team creates multiple versions of your pages ( A/B split tests ). The Hatch platform monitors each version of your page and automatically figures out which one has the best chance of winning more customers in the coming months. It declares that page the winner, and replaces your initial page with the new page.
And then we repeat the cycle.
That’s why sites created on Hatch keep evolving, and getting better. And you win more customers.
An effective vehicle wrap (whether it be full or partial) is the most effective advertising/marketing you can do. Just think about it this way; if you are washing windows for Mr & Mrs Jones in neighborhood X, everybody that drives by will see it. Not to mention the word of mouth they tell their friends at the country club, office, etc… This is just my opinion, but remember that it’s going to keep working for you well after you have recouped the overall investment. Best of luck and keep us in the loop!

Good advice. Even a nice set of jumbo magnets can have an amazing return. If you’ve got an older vehicle, magnets might even be preferable over lettering/wrap. Our $100 worth of magnets has brought in thousands.

I’ll also put in my vote for yard signs. Just selecting a few nice yards of customers has had awesome results for us. We’ve never put them up at intersections or anything like that.
On a cost vs. return basis, we’ve also found vehicle signage to be one of the best advertising investments. They’re relatively cheap to produce, and it’s a one time investment that continues to create return for the lifetime of your vehicle.
The key to effective vehicle signage is focusing on a single call to action that is extremely clear and memorable. Your conversion rate will likely drop if you try to include too much unnecessary information (ex. multiple methods to contact you, your address, etc.), or use an un-memorable website address / phone number as your call to action.
Window’Spas How do you advertise with Mailchimp? They don’t allow you to send emails to anyone from a purchased list, so how else would you get the email addresses of prospective customers?
If you’re trying to be laser focused on your advertising and don’t have a budget to do a lot of different things I would say letter your work vehicles and then google ad words. Our spend is about $750 per month but get over $10k per month in new revenue
Its worth mentioning that while adwords can produce results when done right - if you set it up yourself & don’t know what you’re doing you may as well just set your money on fire - at least you’d get a little heat from it!
I have a good bit of experience with keywords and optimisation - and I wouldn’t setup my own adwords campaign. Its worth paying a professional to do it - the increase in ROI will very quickly outweigh the setup cost.
Unless you are a multimillion dollar company advertising is a waste of money.
That’s right.
I said it.
A waste of money. There are no good return advertising can give ya unless you are willing to spend tons of money.
How ever…
Try marketing.
With Marketing , one can get great returns with a small investment.
