lol. I think I’ve got it now…
Alright.
First floor kitchen window: Ten bucks inside and out.
(example price, don’t give me some “ooh I get $12”- just make it $1000 for one single window)
I’m the customer, and I can only/will only have one side done.

I don’t have an issue with that (or in general, “just talking”)
I have a couple of ladies that I would do for free, if they would let me.
But would they let you? Is the question…

It depends on what’s outside versus inside… If the inside is free of obstructions I charge less but if I got to move some stank cat litterbox it costs more… Again, it’s all relative. Based on the job…
WinCleanPlus:
I think I may change my approach after reading this thread. I’ve alway just lowered the price a little on each window…ie…if I charge $8 in/out for a window, I may only charge $5 for exterior only. From now on I may just charge 65-70% of the interior/exterior price. Never 50% though. I’ll show the customer the value of having the interior AND exterior done vs. exterior only. If I charge just half then there’s no incentive for someone who is on the fence about getting the interior done as well.

Sounds like you were already on the right track without considering a percentage an issue. Right now you are at 62.5% ($5/$8) Which is a perfect number if you ask me.

Wincleanplus is on the smart track if you ask me… He’s doing a good job…
No.
Which is why I charge them to basically pay my labor only.
I have a lady who basically has us do some “high” dusting, along with her windows.
By “high” I mean 6 feet or so.
She keeps us a secret from her family, because they say
"they will come and do it, don’t waste your money."
So in the meantime, all these years, I come with my crew to do little things to keep her house clean.
For when they actually DO come over.
People are so full of shit.

Including me… I’m such a f&$@ up… The only thing keeping me going is my insatiable appetite for income… Money? I’m all over it.

Preferably the hot ones on the top floor of the building… Usually they wear miniskirts and blow my wife away… They need a window cleaner so I’m there front and center…

My personal preference is just outdoors, the majority of homes I do have maids that pretty much keep them clean on the inside so it’s not really a big deal to clean inside, besides I usually ask if they want in and out and they usually want both quotes. So I let the customer tell me what they need. Then 70% goes outside which is where we fight the battles.
