I like to roll light.
Unger side bag is awesome, unger double loop belt is awesome, unger ninja boab (with sock) hangs off one loop, and a $6.95 tool pouch from home depot that fits perfectly into the razor slot. The tool pouch holds my scrubby, screen tool (paint can opener) and brush. 18" ettore mop with microtiger, 18" ettore stainless channel, and a 6" sill squeegee. The unger bag also holds my 12" channel.
That’s pretty much all I need for any job. If I need a razor, that goes in the other loop.
You can take all of the padding off of the adp. I ripped mine and then realized that it all comes off. Felt like I dropped 20 lbs

This is amazing, I just added that unger pouch to my revised belt… Love it so far.
I like that pouch on the BOAB idea too

That unger pouch just rocks. It took me half a day to get used to it but I can’t imagine life without it.
It was a happy shock that the little clip they use for that pouch fit so perfectly in the razor slot of the boab!
I might have a pouch like that lying around, I’ll have to dig through the basement tomorrow after work.
That Unger pouch can hold so much, with my new belt set up I am trying to lighten the load on residential jobs.

So Dale do you have any pics of the new setups yet?
Not yet Steve, soon.
Here’s my revised belt set up…

What brand belt is that do you have a link for it ?
Thanks
It’s a husky belt, got it at Home Depot a couple years ago. It’s comfy, strong and holds everything in place.

Sold. Are all those channels more for cut-ups. I have been wanting to cut channels down for cut-ups. What sizes would you recommend to do, In what increments would you cut them down to?
I have various channels all under 10" in size. I started with just 6" 8" 10" and from there just cut down a channel at each job if I didn’t have anything that fit as a one swipe for the panes on that job. I prefer to swipe down on panes not across
I recommend keeping a hack saw handy and maybe even using stainless steel channels (lighter, cheaper) although a little less durable than the brass channels.

How do you keep track of which channel goes with this pane?

What do you mean by “durable”?
I don’t know how many brass channels I had to cut or toss because they got bent. I haven’t had any problems with ss so I’m curious about your experience.
I just feel the ss channels won’t hold up to the constant abuse residential work has to offer (when I did 90% residential work at least)
I just have so many brass channels now that it’s pointless to waste money on changing over to ss channels.
As for knowing what channel goes with what pane size I just keep them all in my pouch and go through em and see if one fits. Over the years I’ve gotten really good at guessing the size pane at a glance.

An eye for the details!
I recently bought one of those dumb blue sponge pockets. It takes up so much real estate on my belt just for one small pocket. I’ve been avoiding it but I think I’ll need to purchase some sort of construction worker type multi pocket pouch.
