Work Belt Setup (for the newbies)

so Tim what did you decide to put in the pouch?

Ha. I forgot I posted that. Its a magnetic belt loop. Gonna try to keep my steel wool on it. Its not strong enough to hold onto it while rubbing up against things but its worth a try

Maybe if you embedded a small magnet in the middle of the wool, it would stick?

It sticks much better than you think it would. I did knock it off going through some bushes but It did a good job of holding.

Bushes: do you know how many battles with bushes my wfp has saved me .

Wfp: it’s not just to avoid ladder work .

Ah, yes! I love it when I don’t have to climb through bushes now. Unfortunately, if you need steel wool, there’s a good chance you’re gonna need to climb through those bushes…

Absolutely, there are times when your going to have to get in there, an wrestle with the bushes.

I love to where cargo shorts in the summer great place for ticket book and pen and business cards are always handy on one side and my white scrubber bronze wool and magic eraser on the other. Cuts down on the need for a pouch on my belt.

What about using the Unger attachment opposite your brush? That’s what I plan on doing…Bad idea?

Thanks for posting the pics and giving that idea Chad.

there are definitely ways of ā€˜amping up’ your abilities with a WFP. The whack pack from FoC looks like a pretty good option. I’ve used the reach-around adaptor in the past with good results. But typically I’ve found it more time effective to do nose to glass under those circumstances. Thus my saying, ā€œthere’s a good chanceā€¦ā€. Difficult access situations can change things a bit, making it more advantageous to use the WFP if possible. But I personally wouldn’t use the reach-around or Midg-iT just to avoid climbing through bushes.

Hope this helps.

It does help. Thank you.
